The pledge I dream

(Note: Please know that you may take this any way you would like, this is just how I see things. I wish for there to be more peace and love in this world. We need more people who are there for others, and people that spread joy in the dark. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy it. (Also thank you to Creativity641 for giving me the inspiration to write this piece.) :3)

“I pledge allegiance,”

I do.

“To the flag,”

However tattered.

“Of the United States of America.”

United. Yes. We have to be.

“And to the Republic, for which it stands,”

We will stand tall, as long as we can find love.

“One nation,”

‘One nation’. All of us. Whether alike or not. All of us together.

“Under god,”

Or under whichever you may believe, with faith and kindness.

“Indivisible,”

I will not let this all divide us. I will not let hate make my friends become enemies.

“With liberty,”

We will see freedom reign in time.

“And justice,”

That could bring pain, but, nonetheless, we shall have it.

“For all.”

All. All united, together, indivisible; that is the America I dream of; past words and differences and biased and unbiased opinions.

The pledge of the United States of America I see;

“I pledge allegiance, to the flag of the United States of America,

And to the Republic, the people, for which it stands, one nation, under love,

With liberty,

Heart,

Connection,

And justice as well as strength,

For all.”

So, to this pledge that I dream to see one day,

All of us,

Together,

No politics,

No bias,

No hate,

But love,

Love for all,

People that care;

The United,

U.S.A.
