The night was cold. The air was thick and musty. Street lights flickered as I walked down the street. The eerie feeling of someone listening and watching me. I continue down the street. The street was a little bumpy. I was scared. All of my senses begin to heighten. In the distance, I started to hear footsteps coming fast up behind me. At that moment I started to run. The person behind me started running too. I was scared out of my mind, I felt like I was going to die. I was running out of breath, so I stopped. I could no longer hear the footsteps behind. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a guy right beside me. I tried to run but he grabbed my arm and pinned me on the wall. The wall was cold and hard. He leaned in. I could feel his hands on my waist.
“Crimson,” he whispered. His lips caress my ear. My palms started to sweat. I could feel his warm breath on my ear as he whispered my name.
“ Why run, you know you can’t escape me,” he laughs. His eyes cold as he stares into mine.
“ It is a shame that such a pretty thing has to die,” he whispers. My ear twitches when his lips touch it. He smirks a sinister grin. His hands move up my body. I finch at the touch. But that only makes him pull me closer to me. He slowly removes one hand from my body and reaches into his pocket and pulls out a knife.
“ Just like olds times Crimson,” He snickers, “You loved me so why do you finch?” He looked sad but I knew that is what he does to get his way.
“ I remember this touch, and It was followed by nothing kind,” I responded, trying to hide the fear in my voice. A flicker of happiness flashes across his eyes. He loses his grip a little bit.
I knew at that moment I had one chance to free myself. So I pushed him off of me and ran as fast I could to get away from him. He stumbles to the ground. My feet are pounding hard on the ground. Alerting every animal in the area of my location. I look behind me. He was slowly getting off the ground. He had a big gash on his temple from where he fell.
“CRIMSON, YOU WON’T GET AWAY FROM ME!” He yelled.
“ DARCEL, LEAVE ME ALONE!” I screamed. I knew he would not let me go alive. He was getting closer. The more I ran the more he sped up. I had to kill him. I bulted to my car.My hand shaking as I opened the trunk. My still as I load my pistol. I hid behind a piece of the wall that was broken and waited for him to come around the corner.
“ Crimson?” He asked, “ Don’t hide from your boyfriend.”
Once I saw him I stepped out behind the wall. When he saw me he looked amused.
“ Well this is a surprise,” He mocked.
“ Leave me alone Darcel,” I demand. My hand was still shaking. He moved closer to me, testing his fate. I shot a bullet right next to him as a warning. That only seems to make him more angry. He started running out of fear I kept shooting him until my clip was gone.
When I finished I looked and saw that he was shot four times in the head and chest. I smiled. I knew I had finally beaten him. No more. I could live in peace. I looked down at his dead body.
“ Say hi to the grim reaper for me Darcel,” I smirked. I got in my car proud of what I did. I drove off. I was thinking about everything I did. He could no longer hurt anyone again.
“ The body of a teenage boy was found dead this morning, Darcel Owens, a 17-year-old All star athlete from glad field high. We have no clues so far on who his killer is.
