Snapping Turtle

snapping turtle,

my yard

last night

I saluted to him 

he didn't salute back

I was disappointed so I went for a ride down the road on my bike

I rode over to my neighbor’s horse

I saluted to the horse

then I went back and stood by the snapping turtle

and saluted to him again

Then I sat in front of him and looked him in the eye

I said hello

and then my dog barked

and ruined the moment
