and the second-most technically difficult scene in the entire movie is finished! at four p.m. a bunch of us met at maggie's house to get in costume, shadow our undereyes, and splatter fake blood where it was necessary. and then when it was dark enough out, we went outside. it was cold, by which i mean very cold, by which i mean i couldn't feel my fingers and the toughest and most outdoorsy of us was curled into a ball on her hands and knees at one point. but we got our footage, and i successfully created my very first prosthetic bullet wound--it looked really good--and despite the freezing i think everyone had a really good time. it's nice to see things beginning to come together.
some very cold ghosts
