spring

The winter sleep is finally done,
The world wakes up to greet the sun.
With yellow, pink, and vibrant blue,
The flowers bloom in shades anew.

The gentle breeze begins to sing,
A happy song of early spring.
The fields are green, the air is sweet,
With fresh new life beneath our feet.

With buzzing bees and sunny skies,
A joyful sight for sleepy eyes.
The daffodils have opened wide,
With nothing left for gloom to hide.

So take a breath and feel the cheer,
The lovely springtime now is here.
The petals stretch and blossoms grow,
And happiness is what we know.

So lift your eyes and join the cheer,
The finest time of all is here.
With every petal open wide,
There’s nowhere left for gloom to hide.

The sky is clear, the air is sweet,
A perfect day is now complete.
