Shining in the moonlight,

I knew you would be right.

Stones that shimmered,

Love that glimmered,

Reminding me to be less a sinner.

Your blood stained on the diamonds,

Your strength shown in the beauty 

Of your radiating glory.

Then began our story.

Stressed or without a care,

I made sure you were always there.

Helped me through the thorns,

And kept me from the horns.

Let me fiddle with your roughness,

Telling me of your toughness,

Of your care and your protection,

I no longer needed to question.

Still with me everyday,

I do my best to never stray.
