A Supernova

She was lost

And they couldn’t find her

Because they were looking in all the wrong places

Her heart was beating but her soul was dead

Her eyes fell to stone while her spark died out in the cold

There was no saving a sun that burned out

A super nova some might call her

But once you crash you never rise up alone

Not without depression or addiction

she had a glass heart which eventually cracked under every judgement filled eye

The world has kept her for its money and fame and once she stopped burning..

They threw her aside

To find the best next thing that would stay relevant

That’s what happens with stars

They burn for years and eventually are left to crumble by themselves

All alone in the universe as a new one is born

The cycle continues and the body starts to die down

The dreams vanish and all that’s left are memories

Memories of those who once loved her

Memories that come by once in a while

From a fan who put all her posters and albums hidden away in a box as she mourned her loss

From her lover who regretted not taking action sooner of the late night talks of her struggles

From her best friend who wrote books about all the secrets of the dirty industry  trying to get justice for her friend

From her parents who tried to keep her memory alive by telling stories about her life

But no matter how many times her name flies around from mouth to mouth

It’s eventually taken by the wind

Turned into a small whisper

To be forgotten forever
