A Thank You for Spring

Snow is melting out on the yard

Green grass shows itself to tired eyes

The winter was so long and hard

'Till your warm green powers started to pry.

Soon there will be dandelions

And violets in the field

The bears no longer lying,

And flowers grow from their seed.

Cherry blossoms bloom

And little fawns are born

Summer will come soon

The truth is it's a storm.

Winter's cold and rigid

And Summer's way to hot

Thanks for Spring, Brigid

You've helped us out a lot.

    And when I wake.

    And there's no escape

    From the terrifying pain.

    Have you felt
