Togetherness

He sits 6 feet behind the sideline, wondering how the sport in front of him works. The whistle was blown and he felt a sense of togetherness. Teammates were lined up across the bench sticking out on each end by at least 3 people. The community was filled with togetherness—observers filled the perimeter of the field creating a colosseum. They were playing Culver in Lacrosse that day. How could he watch this game—not just any game but the most important game of the year—without fathoming how lacrosse works? He felt alone—togetherness. It was explained—throughout each sequence of play—togetherness. One of their important players got badly injured during the game—silence—togetherness. They beat their biggest rival, and he understood how the game worked—togetherness.
