On top sit the wealthy
Sitting on backs
The backs of the working
The backs of the burdened
The backs of those who have no choice but to work

On top sit the white
Sitting on backs
The backs of the oppressed
The backs of the tyrannized
The backs of those who have to prove that their lives matter

On top sit the men
Sitting on backs
The backs of the harassed
The backs of the exploited
The backs of those who are subjected to persecution  everyday because of their gender

On top sit the straight
Sitting on backs
The backs of the persecuted
The backs of the shunned
The backs of those who are tormented because of who they love
