I have two pictures on my phone that make me really, really happy. The first one is on my lock screen, and it’s probably the most amazing memory I have. It’s of me at Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, the broadway show. I’m standing in front of the huge sign that says where I am. I just got out of the taxi we were riding in, and I’m so giddy and awestruck. But for some reason the only thing that I remember about that is this really cute dog that walked by while the picture was being taken. Huh.
My other picture, on my home screen, is of my favorite people, aka my sister and my bestie. We’re at some sort of winter celebration, and we’re holding up those paper things that are like smily faces and beards. I have a Santa hat, my bestie has a pair of glasses, and my sister has a mustache. It’s probably the happiest memory of my life.
I keep these photos on my phone to remind me to keep going when things get rough.
