Two Worlds Apart Haiku

My hands dance across the keyboard,

Letters connecting to one another.

Each word makes my heart ache with the yearning for something,

10.

Trapped in fishing nets, 

Tangled in wire and desperation. 

Lungs fill with the same water needed to live.

Please help.

i can't breathe

but i suck it up and move on

i can't let myself shed any tears because what if i'm weak

i have work to do, 

grades come first
