She fears men. She fears what they’re capable of, what they can get away with, their strength and their power. The ironic thing is that her greatest desire and wish is for validation, to be liked. Specifically by men. She craves their validation but fears their presence. She shows off her body, carefully filters her speech, suppresses parts of herself, all in the hope she will be validated and appreciated. She feels her only worth is when men like her. She plays with her hair, sucks her stomach in, smiles. She wears clothes that barely cover her, tight and low cut. She does everything for the men. She won’t cut her hair because men like long hair. She laughs a lot so they feel confident. She plays dumb so they feel smart. She compliments them, says things she doesn’t mean in any way, so they’ll like her. She flirts with everyone in a room hoping they’ll be jealous. Every word she says is planned out, in the hopes they’ll like what she said or fall for her. She feels her worth is determined by how many men she can pull. She thinks her life will be solved if she just dates a guy.

  • Nice guys

Not all nice guys are nice. Or was it a nice guy who assaulted and harassed 14, 13, and 12 year old girls? Was it a nice guy who knowingly passed on a std? Was it a nice guy who drugged a girl at a bar?

  • Our America

People say this is not their America. I think the problem is that it is. This is what millions of Americans want. This is our America whether we like it or not. Our America elected a rapist into office.
