fear and hate

war

why does war happen,

i do not understand

why do you want to fight over land

you kill and you slay

causing so much pain

why i ask, why

money doesn't matter

when lives are to cost

why make people suffer

live in fear

just so you can rule

under a fist

the fist may look good

but is not what it seems

i love my world,

my home too,

but i don't like the hate

so much hate

why can we not care

why can we not accept

it doesn't matter who you are

you are a human

and nothing will change that

why can people not see 

that everyone

is a human being
