Memory Lane Based on a Book ¨Moon Over Manifest¨ By Clare Vanderpool

Here I go again,

A trip down memory lane.

To the place of manifest,

In a way, It hasn’t changed.

But I have to say I still regret,

To shady and Mrs. Abaleen.

Not meeting them.

It really is a shame

But If I did,

I think I would have said,
I’ve read all ’about you,

I’ve been along on all of your adventures,

time and time again,

But you’ve never heard my whispers,
Even though I’m as loud as a bear.

Or heard my voice in the back of your head.

You’ve never seen me in person,

Or listened to my ideas,
All this time I’ve wondered why?
But deep down I know……

          It’s cause

 You’re just in a storybook.

    She's a swan,
    How she sores
    Beautiful and elegant,
more then one would ever wish
    He's an eagle,
    How he dives
    Strong as an ox
Yet as shallow as a Hallow.
    Then Theirs The duck
    Who has not yet bloomed
  • Pretending

    You're the center of attention
    Everyone calling your name
Everyone wants to sit by you
    Just because your you
Or the you they think you are
    They don´t know you're pretending
They don´t know the pain you keep inside
  • Imagine

Imagine a world where we're all set free
from all the worries we face every day.
Imagine a world where you're always safe
    and can find peace.
Imagine a world where no one will judge.
You can be who you are, and that will be enough.
