It's all the same on the Battlefield

It's all the same on the battlefield,
Everyone left their feuds behind.
When we are all fighting battles,
Why should we have to hide?
Some hold guns,
Some hold bombs,
But some prefer swords.

Everyone's fighting battles on the same ground,
But when we look.
We are all alone.
You must look behind the mask of smiles,
To see who is fighting.

Some are experienced at hiding,
And you must wait until their mask slips for a second or two to get in.
Some are new to their fight,
And you can breakthrough easily.
Some are midway,
But it ain't that hard if you try,
But some,
Some have been battling their whole life.
They won't let you in,
No matter what you try,
They won't let their mask slip,
You've got to wait until they cry.

Then it will be an ugly sight,
To see what bloody wars they fight.
Whatever they use,
It will be covered in ooze,
From the many fights, they've had.
They are the ones who use,
The cannons and
The Nukes.
They are the ones whose,
Hearts are covered in stone
And ice.
These are the ones,
Who can't play nice.

Remember to revive and respect,
Everyone you meet.
They are fighting their own battles,
Even as we sleep.
