The Power of Nature

The mossy grass is

damp after a long pour of rain.

The snow-capped mountains

are colored a powdery white

in the distance.

The sun is setting under the

cool blue waves,

sloshing forward and

wetting the sun-kissed sand.

The pink sky is now a navy blue and

the sun is now a crescent moon.

The stars are coming out at night,

glistening in the distance

and dotting the sky with their

everlasting power.

From near to far,

the nature we see resembles

a bond,

between the Earth and the sea,

between the sun and the moon,

and between us.
