The sun had set, my feet were dangling over the side of the dock into the water and everything was peaceful. For about 2 minutes.
"Livvy! Livvy!" my little sister Avia yells. I turn my head to look at her, tears were streaming down the side of her face.
"what is it? Whats wrong?" I ask. i was getting a sinking feeling in my stomach, something is wrong.
"They're... they're..." Avia was struggling to get the words out. " They're here. Agent Max and his team"
Alarms start going off in my head. How did he find us, I thought we were well hidden. Incase you didn’t know about five years ago our parents had gotten killed in a train accident. Since I was only eight and my sister three, we were put into foster care until I was eleven and we ran away, and on the way we might have stolen some important things, but that is beside the point. We have been hiding out in this log cabin deep in the woods since then and Agent Max Adams was tasked with capturing us.
“Are you sure he is here?”
I pull on my shoes grabbed Avia’s hand and we ran into the thick of the wood.
“But what about all of our stuff?”
“ We will get it later after they are all gone. Then we leave these woods.” My head is still spinning as we hide behind a big fallen log, my breathing hard.
“Trying to hide, are we now?” A voice says from behind us. I whip my head around and position myself so I can run if I have too.
“I would not do that if I were you I have guards surrounding you.” Agent max says with a smile.
“ Let's do this the easy way for convenience purposes. Ok? Ok would you please come this way then.” Max then turns around and begun to walk back to the waiting cars.
“No” I grab Avia’s hand and start running. But got stopped short by a boy around my age who somehow got me lying flat on my face and unable to move.
“Livvy!!” My sister yelled. I turn my face to see her. Her face is red as she runs at the boy and started kicking him. “Let go of my sister!” she says between kicks before a man in a black suit dragged her away still kicking.
“So I see you want to do it the hard way.” He says looking down at me. To his men he says, “Cuff her and knock her out. She is to much trouble.” Then he walks away.
My vision starts to blur, they must be drugging me, isn’t that nice. Wait drugging me? No!! “ Avia!! Avia!!” But it’s no use, I can faintly hear Avia’s voice. Before the blackness consumes me.
