Noises Around Me

The noises around me 

are sometimes loud

 and sometimes quiet.

 When it's quiet 

I can hear the clicking of keys

 on computers when

 fingers press them down.

 I can hear people whispering 

to  people next to them.

 I can hear the movement of feet 

coming from  the students around me.

 When it’s loud

 I can hear moving of chairs

 and students calling out. 

People try to shush the students 

calling out, but it makes 

everything louder. 

The loud is harsh,

 the quiet is relaxing.
