Why not?

Standing in the parking lot of her apartment, I see my friend. She's looking down, sad, and having just as hard of a time as me. 

I keep my head down. I don't want to leave. But I also do. I know its time. 

A circle and three lines

Put everywhere the sun can shine

Left and right, big or small,

Short little houses and buildings tall

We know the symbol, we’ve known it for long

But do we really know its sweet song?

There is a person I want to be:

A strong person,

Someone who can stand up for herself

And others,

Who can increase her grit,

Who can push through the worst,

And always stand tall;
