from the washing machine

I can feel the breeze surrounding me,
it's a green spring day and the world is alive
I only ever thought of poetry on days like this,
the beauty of nature inspiring my words
Now, I think of you -
pink lights
pink lights,
friendly smiles,
arms and legs in
a mess
over each other,
cat in between.
soft and tranquil,
nerves and you’re still.
laughter’s contagious,
flowers are healing. -
At the Very Least
I’m sorry for your heart that cares for mine,
I’m sorry that I can’t sit still in this love.
I’m sorry because internally I’m shaking, I’m worrying, I’m scared.
I have this fear that you’ll leave my life in -

Right now, my Truth
is that I am alive. I am
Alive, and it hurts, and it’s beautiful,
and it’s a cage, and it is freedom.
My Truth is that I live in Love,
my Truth is that everyday is one soaring Flight,
