When you go to a fancy restaurant,
It’s weird.
You walk into the hotel where you’re eating lunch and
Everything is marble and glass.
There’s a piano playing itself in the corner,
And one family quietly talking at a table.

The bright red head of a tiny bird
Peeks up from the bushes
A sweet song of whistling that pierces my ears
and my heart.
And when I see the tiny thing
Making that beautiful noise that I hear
I feel hopeful
For the day to come

i have a thousand sentences in my head that will never be written 
and a thousand letters that can’t be printed on the page because I’m not ready.
i will be ready.
just not yet.
 

Hi to all you out there.
Those of you who, like me, have a phone that constantly annoys them by suggesting things to type.
Things like, hi.
So hi.
To those of you like me who have a bandaid on their finger from a baseball injury.

Change.

Once I read a book where one of the people said, 
"I bet that everyone in the world has a place where all of their senses come alive."
This keeps me awake at night,
