I looked forward to having my own bank account,
to having my own phone.
And now that I have these things,
my excitement has faltered.
After school, -
Everything's different in the driver's seat
One day,
I drive,
for the very first time.
I step out of my house,

that I have been expecting
all day,
all week,
all year?

In hopes of clinging to Monday
Sitting alone, typing away, at 7 p.m.
This is the most perfect way
to spend a Sunday night.
The air outside grows colder,
whipping away,
whispering,
howling
to me.
The wind tells me to write,
