Watching as droplets
collect

green and red chard
mini waterfalls
gushing down their -
Constellations
i want to be there
the day the rivers
turn to stained glass
i want to watch the trees
crumble
into sand
want to hear
the catbirds last

delicate
twists of air
concealing
the path behind us
Our footprints

shy, buttery sunlight
dusting off the trees
