Colors appear

Reds and oranges fill the sky

The trees seep in the light

The whole world is cast into an orange pink shadow. 

The sun sinks into darkness

I awake from a deep sleep and I stand up and get dressed. I shuffle down my stairs. I eat breakfast, go outside and bike to my friend Finn's House.

I am walking around my yard. We live in some old mansion that my Grandfather and Grandmother owned. But they died a couple weeks ago. My mom is still very upset. I see her every morning sitting drinking coffee looking at a picture of them.

The nights journey                                      

I look up and around me in the hallway of my school. I keep my head down as I walk into my classroom. Apparently still going to school is important when it's the end of the world.

Imagine..

The cool ocean breeze blowing around you.

The smell of earth, dirt in the spring.

Snow falling like sheets of cold beauty.

Flowers blooming in fields.

Clouds cool and beautiful surrounding you.
