Cinquain

Deadline

A cinquain is similar to a haiku, being written in only five lines and restricting the number of syllables you can use. The pattern of a cinquain goes like this: two syllables in the first line, four syllables in the second line, six syllables in the third line, eight syllables in the fourth line, and lastly two syllables in the fifth and final line. Write about anything that comes to mind, but make sure it’s in the form of a cinquain. [Photo by Aaron Burden on Unsplash]
