my heart so beating
soft in my chest where there is
waiting a snowy storm
Summertime sadness
Just as cruel as wintertime
In different ways.
Storms warn what's ahead,
Icy hugs from the wind above,
as winter rolls in.
The first frost this year,
Changes the fall to winter,
Snow starts falling down
Cloudy breath cold hands
Cannot feel my nose or toes
But I love winter
Small white icy flakes
Covering the trees and grass
Snow is majestic
