The clouds watched the mountains, Strong. Regal.
Infallible.
The clouds longed to join the mountains,
To be together.
I hope you realize it soon,
We're no longer friends.
Thanks for acting so well,
Until the bitter end.
Our first and last pic on the 'Gram,
Yeah, it looked nice.
I'm jealous of your growth,
I miss you more than
I loved you. Still, I love you
–less than I feared you.
It's the little things at first, right?
Yes, I rather think so.
It always starts bright
The light reaching my eyes
Only after the delay
Ocean waves are music to my ears
Calming my raging thoughts about you,
Eleven O'clock, the time you proposed
Air was cool beneath the moon
Running underneath the willow tree,
As my father hung the swing.
In the rain, I stand watching the same tree
Now, as I cry, reading his name on the stone below.
Inseparable.
