I just finished reading The war that saved my life, for the 7th time, and it's so good! I also read the sequel, The war I finally won, and I think that anybody that enjoys reading historical fiction would love these two books!

Yes I have! It's so amazing, I love the way she talks about Miriam's panic when they took Nora from her.
Same!! I'm a little confused, though, why Miriam is constantly crying throughout the book
Well, if your parents were possibly dead, people of your religion were being hunted down, you had to go by fake name, dealing with a ghost, seeing that your (little sister?) was about to be baptized, being bullied at school, and smuggling people to the Vicky side, I would be panicked as well, and honestly? She handles it better than I would. C':
