Yeah it was really good!! I liked TSatS a bit more than TCotD but that might be because Will had more page time :)

omg yes especially because I first read the original series as a seven year old and they all seemed so old to me and now I'm closer to their age but they still feel very much like older siblings

I have to admit I never read that series lol - I made it through the first book, got distracted by a different series, and never liked kotlc enough to come back :/
That is literally my favorite series ever (I’ve read it at least 12 times). It also was partly inspired by lord of the rings which is my favorite movie ever (I did not watch it till a few months ago). The world building throughout the series gets better and better (same with the overall plot). A lot of people say the series is dragging on which I agree with, but I think this 10th book (technically 12th) is her last. It feels more thought out than a lot of series I’ve read lately.
The length of the books is crazyyyy like 400-900 pages
haha yeah - that's always why people rave about it but my tbr list is wayyyy too full at the moment lol, maybe in the future!
I keep meaning to cap my TBR at 100 but then I find a new book and I’m like ‘but I’m probably going to read that soon’ and then I never do and it just keeps growing
