I recently read The Song Of Achillies, which is a book written from the point of view of Patroclus. It follows Achillies and Patroclus through the beginning of the Trojan War, and it's full of torn emotions and gods. I definitely recommend!

I love the Song of Achilles! It's so poetic and really immerses the reader in the story.
Ooh, if you like that, then you should totally read Clay and Amber, which is a novel in verse following an enslaved boy named Clay in Rome who's searching for his mother and trying to avoid becoming a gladiator as well as Amber, a wild girl who's a part of a very noble and high-up family and, when it becomes apparent she's not going to become a lady anytime soon, she joins a group of girls following the goddess Artemis. It's heartwrenching and powerful and a perfect read for anyone liking deep dives into Greek\Roman mythology!
I'll make sure to check that out! Thanks for the recommendation!
The Song Of Achilles is one of the most beautiful romances. I value its formality but also its playfulness and intricasy. Its one of my favorite reads, and I will cherish its tale for the rest of my life.
Praise The Song Of Achillies!!! (And all of Madeline Millers other masterpieces!)
