Oh my gosh - Daughter of the Deep is amazing, I love how Rick Riordan made a whole backstory to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and made a really good plot about it! Other than the Percy Jackson series, The Neptune Project by Polly Holyoke is really good, it's the first in a trilogy. It's similar to Daughter of the Deep - futuristic underwater setting, but with a different plot.
Cool! I will try to read it.
