Oh my gosh, that’s so awesome!!! I think you should make sure to read it in YOUR voice and how you think it best conveys your writing and meaning. If there’s a way you have always read it in your head, try reading it that way once or twice

oooooh cool congrats!!!! I'd say practice beforehand to get a feel for how you like to read; make sure to BREATHE; go slowly so people can understand (my theatre director says to think of adults as snails with reading: they need you to go slow lol); and don't worry if you make mistakes! also have funnn!!!

Think about how your poetry makes you feel when you read it. Try to convey your emotions through your voice. Most of all, make sure you’re having fun with it. This is for you, so it should be about your feelings and thoughts and experiences.
