i'm starting a poetry & art project with some of my artist friends at school about self-love and mental health. so i just wanted to put out there:
you are doing your best.
your best is always enough.

idk I always feel like I'm slacking, especially now... ;-;
no!! it is always okay to be lazy or need more time or rest or take your mind off things for a while because we all need different things and they change really quickly!! if you need to rest your brain from tasks and stuff you can! especially writing and/or posting on here, like if you can't do it, don't! don't push yourself to do things you aren't ready to or don't have the capacity for. and social media and schools do such a bad job of letting us take time for ourselves, so just know that amidst all the peer pressure to be perfect all the time, ywp and others will let you know that you are NEVER "slacking" or doing badly at...what? life? how can you be bad at life? everyone is bad at life!!! we are all terrible at being humans because it's our first time doing it!! you're absolutely fine. <3

I'm just falling behind on schoolwork rn (and kinda ywp too lol but I can forgive myself for that) and feeling pretty stressed/mad at myself about it

hmm well i can't stop time (i wish) but some things that help me are slowing down, taking deep breaths (you can refer online to chi kung breathing techniques which is what i use for karate - they helped me get through my black belt test), and not beating yourself up too much about the little things. also if your teachers are understanding/you're comfy with it, you can explain to them why you're behind. hope that helps!
