Me too, though I think everyone's line breaks seem a little strange to others, because we all say/read things a little differently in our head. I agree that really obscure ones are super irritating though
I try to break them where it feels natural unless I'm deliberately being unnatural so it definitely feels weird when you hate a line break but can't tell if the author was being purposeful :P
