For a long while after taking this photo I had only thought of it as one thing, a peaceful, beautiful pastel sky. My grandma saw this photo and she said,
“Oh wow it looks like there’s a unicorn amidst a cotton candy sky.”
Now I can no longer see it any other way.

You make it so hard for me not to break down
Blurry vision, runny nose, screaming lyrics to that one song we used to listen to over and over again.
The song we said was ours. It was our song.
I’m afraid.
What if one day I am unable to get motivation,
That I am no longer capable of feeling happy?
I'm afraid
That every thought will come to life and haunt me over and over.
