Words hold power -- what happens when we take that away?

The world is slowly becoming less and less tolerant. Book banning and media regulation are often used as a means of controlling a particular narrative, as can be seen by the lists of hundreds of books banned in the United States every year. Writing is a means of expression and communication; it is essential to who we are. It is imperative that we protect the right to express ourselves.
