I love gardening, ever since I was little I loved planting all kinds of seeds in our garden beds during the summer. Loving plants was a result of being around them all the time. Then during, the quarantine I discovered a newfound love for capturing close-ups of flowers. Here's one of my favorites! I love the flowers because they're so bright and vibrant!
Author's Note: This story isn't exactly mine to tell. One day, I came home from school, crying because I got a huge blister (this happened in elementary school) and the blister spread across my entire palm.
Author Bio: I wrote "Take Me Away," when I felt swamped with a growing list of things to do. It made me miss the days, in the pandemic when I’d run around the backyard, screaming “I’m bored!”
Author's Note: This poem was actually inspired by Emily Dickinson's poem, "I'm Nobody! Who Are You?" I was experimenting with rhyming schemes, and then I read Emily Dickinson's poem.
