Typing on a computer.
Bags under my eyes.
Plants on the windowsill.
Wearing an old hoodie and sweatpants.
Sketchbook beside the computer.
Pen lying atop the sketchbook.
A cat on my lap.
Broke, but happy.
That's how I imagine myself at age 30.

You're doing great.
I believe in you.
If at this time you feel as though you don't have many friends, that's okay.
You'll get another one soon.
I’ve already fallen for them,
But they’re in love with the shy girl with the pretty hair.
This person I’ve fallen for,
They’ll never realize that I’m waiting by the door.
A thousand thoughts pounding into my head ALL THE TIME.
Whirring past at a million miles per hour.
Filling my head with noise.
The world makes it louder.
