over something I don't even know

was real.

and your dry responses.

Even after blocking you months ago

For various reasons,

That some might say were good;

we walked that day

brushing shoulders.

I told you not

to blame yourself,

even after everything you’d done.

you walked by me

like we’d never met before.

maybe forgetting we walked side by side;
