Who mistook your kindness as a friendship.

over something I don't even know

was real.

Noun: the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.

Even after all of the paragraphs on text;

and your dry responses.

Even after blocking you months ago

For various reasons,

That some might say were good;

we walked that day

brushing shoulders.

I told you not

to blame yourself,

even after everything you’d done.

And yet still,

to you, it was a joke.

you walked by me

like we’d never met before.
