I hate the fact that so many people make assumptions.

About me.

The “fact” that because I have hearing aids means that I am deaf.

The “fact” that you need to speak louder for me to “Understand” you.

I hate that I have to put hearing aids on every day so that I can experience life “Normally”

I hate that I have to deal with the problems that come with being hard of hearing. 

I hate that I have to deal with bullies on top of everything else.

I hate it.
