except the people I'm not smart enough for
To girly,
just because I'm a girl,
but not girly enough because I don't wear make-up and go to all the sleepovers
Not as cool as anyone,
except the people who I don't like to hang out with
More athletic,
just not enough that I'm called athletic

There are days when I fall asleep wondering about the line between stupid and brave.

Is a hero rushing into battle
Ready to fight
For their passion

They talk and if you listened
you would know,
they whisper
like kindergarteners
who can't stand straight in lines
but they can jump straight
