People walking rushedly in and out of the grocery stores
Signs saying things like "KEEP SIX FEET APART" cover the sliding doors
Behind the masks are tired eyes, tired of following these directions posted all over our lives
Our hearts are more filled with love than ever before, and yet there has been a deep, wide hole right in the middle for more than three months
Behind the masks are lips, chapped with corners pointing down
Behind the masks are our eyelids, blinking repeatedly as to ensure that no tears may escape
Eyebrows creased in a frown
Behind the masks there is still a face, even when we can't see it
Just like everyone we wish we could be with
