Bring Back Bullying

Why do people say that?

How do people say that?

They say it as if it's all a joke,

and maybe to them it is,

but to the people being bullied it's not,

 it never was,

and it never will be.

I don't know why somebody thinks it's funny-

to do that to another person.

How could they?

I really don't understand it.

Though,

I do know what can come of it.

I know that really, really bad things can happen.

Nobody knows what the person in question is going through.

So why is it so-called "trendy"

to say bring back bullying?

Not that it ever stopped in the first place.

Why is it a joke to them?

Nobody else is laughing.

So why are they?

Say it's a joke all you like,

that you were only goofing off-

nobody else sees it that way.

It's not trendy or funny,

it's just flat out mean.

And if you can't see it as more than a joke,

I've lost all hope in humanity

and I'm surprised it took me this long to see

what a messed-up place the world is.

  • The wrong metaphor

You compared me to a"beautiful flower."

    I don't think I'm beautiful.

Especially not like the pink flower you said I was.

    I'd say I'm more like a notebook,

    there, but not noticed.

  • Useless

    Is it really?

Is writing just a waste of my time,

and a waste of time for others to read?

    Is writing this here now,

    is it really useless?

According to some people it is.
