A POEM BY MY SISTER <3:
dew drips from a leaf
a leaf that a little caterpillar walks on
it will soon be transformed
into a majestic pollinator
its climbs to a branch on a small tree
there, it starts making a cocoon
somehow it knows just what to do
it settles in wrapping itself up
it stays in there for weeks
then one day
it emerges
little does the creature know
that he's now changed into
something very different

There's a kind of love
And it's like hide and seek
An endless chase
Of shadows with flowing hair
Whispers of names and delighted laughter
Out of sight, whistling around you
The last thing that brought a smile to my lips was a school hallway interaction. A girl who I'd never seen passed me, and gave me the biggest smile. It quite literally felt like sunlight seeping to my core.
Sometimes driving makes me wonder
Sitting in a big tin box, travelling faster than a hare
Until I reach traffic and crawl along slower than a tortoise
We spend so, so much time
Moving from one place to another
