Can you imagine?

Can you imagine the life of a fly?

To hover around idly,

In the area of higher beings,

Feasting on their remains,

Escaping when they see you

Unaware of anything around yourself,

Only to live for a month

Your sole purpose to create more of your kind.

Can you imagine the life of a spider?

To crawl around in the darkness, the shadowy corners,

Constructing your home from yourself,

To be unseeing with eight eyes,

To eat the victims of your home,

Helping the giants who control the world you live in,

But to have to scatter when they come round?

Can you imagine the life of a bee?

To live your life serving a higher force,

Having few individual thoughts,

Prepared to die at a moments notice,

Spending your whole life trained to farm flowers

And create the most basic of food for gods?

To move around,

Fearing and serving higher beings

Prepared to die any second,

And to live for a short time,

Your sole purpose

To create more of your kind?

Can you imagine such a life?

  • Be nice!

    I don’t think enough people

Consider the value of being nice.

    Hold a door open for

    Someone you don't know.

    Give a sandwich to

  • THe DRaGoN

One day, on a dry summers night,

A winged monster swooped in, looking for a fight

It burned and it broke everything it could find,

Then it left, leaving carnage behind

  • Cast aside

The old clothes you grew too big for

The leftovers you didn’t want to eat

The phone that was too cracked, too worn

The cups you just couldn’t bother to properly treat
