Can't we love?

Why can’t we all just love each other?

Why does there have to be so much hate?

Can we ever learn to trust and accept those who are not like us or believe different things?

Why is there so much fighting over belief?

Why is there so much death and hurt?

God - it seems like that's all that’s talked about; death, grief, opinion, politics, wrong this wrong that, what’s right what’s not. Gosh.

Can’t we all just stop for a moment?

And just come together, looking past our differences and scars?

Can’t we learn to care and just have fun again?

Please, god if you’re there, humanity needs help.

We need to find peace in the war.

We need to see the bigger picture, the whole painting of the thousands of grains of beliefs on the canvas of life.

We need to see all the colors and realize that there’s no need for all of the fighting we go through.

Please.

If there’s a way, we all need to know.

Because if we don’t do something soon, it'll all crumble in this never ending fire and turn to rubble and ash.

I can’t see my world in this pain anymore.
