she’s a chameleon

always pleasing someone

changing herself for them

new colors to become

born to be a drifter

they all think they know her,

always think she concurs

she changes so much

she doesn’t know who she started as

she thought she fixed herself

but she really broke herself

she thought she helped herself

but she really hurt herself

she thought she found herself

but she just lost herself
