And chase
And chase
To the little hope that I have but why am I lying to myself?
Do even I still have hope?
Here I chase something or someone I never had.
I am stuck in the same old patterns that does nothing for me,
That little hope that I may have had died.
Always chasing to be number one but never number one.

You'll learn quickly that this world isn't for the weak,
It's a storm that will drown you if you don't know how to swim,
So learn quickly!
Walking the path that I've always dreamt about,
Never caring what others might think of me,
Never did I once stop thinking about those
Who do not see me as worthy.
If only I had that strength then things would have been different.
We would still share a home,
Memories that we once shared
With laughter and love
