Covid-19

At noon i knew it was not right

Once filled with hope and love and light

The blackened pavement of my street

Now has nothing to see in sight

Without toys it wasn’t complete 

The taste of sweat was not as sweet

There was no one in sight around 

It was like the plague did repeat 

If anyone were to be found

Or if anything made a sound

Besides my teacher on my phone

I would fall on to the ground 

There was no one I was alone

I was just here all on my own

It had ended the world I’d known
